About
I’m a Technology Portfolio Director, founder, and builder focused on creating tools that empower people in the digital age. My work, both professional and personal, is guided by a few core beliefs.
My Approach #
Collaboration over brilliance. The work I am most proud of has always come from teams, families, and communities — not from individual cleverness. I default to thinking with people rather than ahead of them.
Build in public, ship imperfectly. I share the journey, not just the outcome. Real-world feedback is more valuable than waiting for perfection, and being seen working things out is part of the contract.
Hold ideas lightly. I write what I am thinking now, not what I am sure about. Most of what I publish here is a probe rather than a prescription — in the spirit of a diary kept openly. I try to attribute generously and correct quietly when I get something wrong.
Digital sovereignty. I believe we need to own our digital lives. This principle drives my work on Memu and is why this website is built on technology I control.
The portfolio approach. I apply portfolio theory to life — a stable day job alongside higher-risk personal ventures. The cross-pollination of ideas across both is part of how I learn.
AI-assisted everything. I use AI as a creative partner and a force multiplier to code, write, and learn faster, augmenting my ability to build and create.
My Work in Action #
These beliefs aren’t just theoretical; they’re how I operate.
- By Day, I apply them in my role as a Technology Portfolio Director, leading large-scale product delivery and AI transformation.
- By Night, I build my own ventures — currently Memu, a personal AI chief of staff that holds your context without owning it, and MyDigitAlly, an educational platform for parents navigating their children’s digital lives.
This site is my digital garden where I document what I’m learning. If you’re new here, the best places to start are my Now page or my latest Notes.
